Brussels, July 14 .- The Belgian Royal House denied today that the jewelry received by Queen Paola from Olive Lembe di Dita, the wife of the chairman of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Joseph Kabila, on the anniversary of the fifty years African country's independence, have cost 200,000 euros.
The Belgian magazine "Le Soir Mag" has published the news in, allods gold, its pages, information that a spokesman for the Belgian royal family has called a "very imaginative", Belgian news agency reported.
Paola actually received a combination of necklace, bracelet and diamond earrings, but not for 200,000 euros, said a spokesman for the monarch, who qualify the amount of "pure exaggeration."
The Royal House has made clear that those jewels, sto credits, have already become part of real property that is owned by the Belgian State, although full provision for the royal family.
